In making a donation, you are helping pets with medical needs that are expected to have positive outcomes on a case by case basis. This includes helping owned pets as well as shelter or foster animals.
The Lexie Fund is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to The Lexie Fund are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

The Lexie Fund is currently not set up to take online credit card donations. Harmony Veterinary Center has set up a system to assist with your credit card donation via the phone or in person at their location.

1. Sign in to your King Soopers or City Market Account*
*New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, an email address and a customer loyalty card.
2. Once signed in, click on “Valued Customer” icon in the upper right corner and select “My Account” from the drop-down list.
3. When the “My Account” screen displays, go to the column on the left side of the screen. Select and click “Community Rewards”

Gifts of Stock or Bonds
Donating appreciated stocks, bonds, or securities is an easy tax-effective way to contribute to The Lexie Fund. This form of donation allows you to avoid capital gains tax on the appreciated security and provide you with an income tax deduction while supporting the medical needs of pets.
There are special valuing rules that apply when donation securities. We recommend you consult your tax advisor with questions about your donations. Because there are several steps in making this type of gift please contact us for specific assistance.
Gifts of Insurance
A gift of life insurance is a great way to make a donation to The Lexie Fund. To make a gift of life insurance please contact your insurance provider and request a beneficiary designation form. You will need to list The Lexie Fund as a beneficiary and provide the insurance company The Lexie Fund’s tax ID. We are happy to provide the tax ID to your insurer.
Gift of a Used Car
The Lexie Fund can accept donations of used cars in good or excellent condition. The title of the vehicle must be in your name and be transferable free and clear to The Lexie Fund. The Lexie Fund will sell your car at auction or directly and provide you with an IRS form 1098c. We recommend you consult your tax advisor with questions about your donations. The Lexie Fund does accept grants from foundations.
