Chance was urinating outside of the box for several years. It was discovered that a rare undiagnosed, and untreatable, kidney disease was the cause. The Lexie Fund assisted Chance with a place to live, medical diagnosis, litter box retraining and eventually placement in a home that could understand his medical condition. Chance spent his remaining years in a wonderful home with a family who loved him. He used the litter box again, had a dog to play with and deeply loved his mom and family.
